About Us Melton Foods, situated in Melton Mowbray, was opened in April 1998 to meet the increasing demand for sandwiches. Technical integrity and manufacturing excellence has enabled the business to grow rapidly.

Melton Foods stands in 13 acres and, being purpose built, offers state-of-the-art high care manufacturing and assembly. Melton Foods has sufficient capacity for growth.

Melton Foods is the sole supplier of Waitrose own label sandwiches and also manufactures for the highly successful Ginsters brand and a number of foodservice outlets.

Products include conventional and contemporary sandwiches, sandwich fillers, seasonal chilled snacks and party foods.

Accreditations gained include Investors in People, EFSIS, and The British Sandwich Association, who voted Melton Foods their BSA Sandwich Manufacturer of the Year 2005.
