About Us John West has been selecting the best fish for its customers for over 140 years. Previously our Food Service customers have been able to buy our products under the Heinz brand. In March 2006 John West was bought from Heinz by Lehman Brothers bank. The change in ownership means John West Food Service products will now be sold under a new brand, Royal Pacific. The new designs will be available to order from May 2007. We have taken the time to re-develop the packaging, making it easier to recognise the different varieties:

• Chunks in Brine is now colour coded Navy Blue
• Chunks in Sunflower Oil is now colour coded Yellow
• Chunks in Springwater is now colour coded Light Blue
• Flakes in Brine is now colour coded Sea Blue

 While there is a new name and look, you can be assured that:

• Our range still comes from the same producing factory as it did under the Heinz brand
• Our range still has the same quality & taste
• Our range continues to be produced to the same specifications
• Our range can be ordered as normal

John West offers full traceability, from sea to plate, ensuring supply security and reliability. We are also technically approved by all major UK multiples as well as being EFSIS approved to ‘Higher Level’.
