About Us KK Finefoods plc was begun in 1987 by Leyla Edwards to produce meals and fillings for the pubs , bars , shops and restaurants in North Wales where the business is still based . Throughout the company's history we have focussed on Innovation , Quality , Price and Service . This has brought us un-parelled success and made us a lot of friends throughout the country, so much so that the majority of food service operators are customers of KK .

We now have one of the most modern factories in the industry, totalling 80,000 sq ft in Deeside, where some 250 different frozen dishes and fillings are prepared and marketed each year with new ideas coming in at an extraordinary rate . The Academy Kitchen where all the NPD work is carried out is continually being visited by specialists chefs showing how the latest trends can be accomodated using the traditional methods the company is renowned for.
