About Us Royal Greenland was founded by the Danish King Christian V11 in 1774 and has more than two centuries of experience in trading in and around Greenland. Today Royal Greenland is a truly international company with fully or partly owned companies around the world. The business is an international seafood producer with high capacity and a vertically integrated production.

Royal Greenland operates a large modern trawler fleet with around 18 factories in Greenland and further production facilities in Denmark and Germany involved in the production of seafood products. The main production is for cooked and peeled prawns for both single and double frozen product as well as a range of other seafood products from Greenland and other worldwide sources.
