- Benugo’s has opened a new grab and go format store at Birmingham New Street station, its furthest north so far. There’s also a raft of new “High Street” deli stores in the pipeline for a national roll-out including Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow, some through a new deal with John Lewis.

- Independent sandwich and coffee bar TRADE opened in Commercial Street, London in 2014, to a chorus of praise from critics and a number of awards, including our own Independent Sandwich Bar of the Year. It’s known for its amazing deli sandwiches, particularly their pastrami varieties, using meat they’ve smoked themselves. Co-founder Alex Stone.
